IR(A) Multi-Engine Extension (IR/ME)

The IR(A) Multi-Engine Extension allows pilots who already hold an Instrument Rating on single-engine aircraft to extend their IFR privileges to multi-engine aeroplanes. Training focuses on multi-engine IFR procedures and asymmetric operations.

Pilots who do not yet hold an Instrument Rating must complete an IR-SE course, not the Multi-Engine Extension.
